Fall Denim Trends

dress: Old Navy (similar)
bag: BCBG via TJMaxx c/o (similar under $30)
glasses: Tory Burch (similar under $25)
sandals: Franco Sarto (similar)

Welcome back to another work week! Although it seems like the entire blogging world is partying down in New York City during NYFW. I'm so excited for fall with so much trends like denim on denim, lots (and lots) of red, as well as some old trends coming back. Flares! Who knew that if I kept my flares from about seven years ago, they would be such a hit?! Now if only they would fit this postpartum belly. I've been keeping an eye on so many NYFW shows and excited to share the round up with you. Follow me on Instagram for the latest updates as well! Thanks for stopping by!

Transition {Dress for Less}

LOOK 1 (for less): parka, red tote, crosboddy, lace up flats, booties
LOOK 2 (to impress): parka, red tote, crosboddy, lace up flats, booties

This fall a lot of trends are staying and lots of new ones are coming onto the scene (hello flares!). Red if this season's hottest color - as a matter of fact, all shades of red are (from burgundy to orangy). Also, lace up flats are all the rage and I'm loving this inexpensive version from Topshop. How about the open toe booties that are all over the blogs right now? The nude version is just perfect for everything from skirts to boyfriend jeans. Hope you can score some great deals and still look like a million bucks.

Happy hump day! Here is another edition of dress for less and this time I'm getting ready for fall. It's hard to think that we are almost through with summer. I'm actually looking forward to light layers and cooler temps. Also, cobalt blue is promising to be the color of the season.

What To Wear During Your Second Trimester

From top left to right
1 / 2  / 3 / 4
1 / 2 / 3 / 4

Now that I'm in third trimester, looking back at second trimester bump I have to say is my favorite. That's the time when you popped but haven't turned into a whale yet, can still tie your shoes and don't have heartburn after every meal. To look put together and stylish, I keep couple of tricks up my sleeve and want to share them with you

1. Shift Dress is your best friend. You know those shapeless dresses that only look good on hangers or models? Well, now they can become your best friend. Since they don't have a defined waist, they are perfect with a belt and some heels. Bonus: you can wear them after giving birth!

2. Maternity Jeans/Shorts are a life saver. No need to try to keep that button from popping out, or struggling to keep the belly band up every time you sit down. I love every single pair of maternity jeans  and shorts I owe and wouldn't trade them for the world.

3. Popover is new kind of classic. Do you like the look of a polished dressy shirt? Consider getting a popover in the same color/print. Since there are no buttons lover than the chest area, they won't be opening at the most inconvenient time. Plus, they will be perfect for breastfeeding when the baby arrives. It's a win win in my book!

4. Stretchy Fabrics are the best. When selecting a dress or a top, go for the scuba fabric as it will grow with your bump and accommodate your belly at every stage.

5. Accessorize while you can. Belts, handbags and shoes are the best way to play up the same dress/outfit. Add bracelets and necklaces while you still can and tiny little hands aren't trying to rip them off you.

Hello lovelies! Welcome to new week and spring - we are overjoyed about the 60-degree weather that's supposed to be happening this week. Eeeeek! Bare legs, short sleeves and no coats is finally a reality which is absolutely delightful! I love waking up to sunshine and opening up the blinds to let the light in - there is just something about sunny days that brightens the mood instantly. Hope you enjoy yourself and have a great day!

Pink Blush GIVEAWAY

sweatshirt: Old Navy (similar herehere and here), jeans: Pink Blush Maternity c/o (similar), crossbody: Target, scarf: TJMaxx, boots: Hunter (also here), watch: Kate Spade
This outfit is brought to you by the only sunny day we had this week, which turned into rain by the evening, and the rain boots became useful. I snagged these on crazy sale because they were Junior version but for a petite girl like me, I guess that's the secret. I've tried the regular version in store and didn't like how they fit, so when these turned up, I was happier than a kid in a candy store.
I know, I already said that I love my Pink Blush Maternity jeans so you will be seeing a lot of them. Like in every post (unless I'm wearing a dress). The Pink Blush Boutique is giving away an item of your choice, and if you are preggers you can pick anything from Pink Blush Maternity. Enter with the rafflecopter below!

Have a great weekend!

Geek Chic

button up: GAP, striped top: Old Navy, jeans: Nordstrom, boots: Old Navy (similar herehere), bag: Kate Spade, glasses: c/o Firmoo, watch: Kate Spade
Welcome to another week closet to spring! Rain boots and layers are on the horizon and I couldn't be happier about it. I'm looking for a pair of pastel colored (example one, two, three) rain boots and can't decide which ones to get. First to be considered is quality and than calf width and glossiness. So which rain boots will you be sporting this spring?
I'm wearing a pair of Firmoo glasses (non prescription) which I really like. They have a cute style and look very nice in person. Whoever, I've received a comment from someone who does wear glasses that they are not very sturdy for long time wear. I think they would be good for someone who needs them for reading or an occasion, whoever they will not hold up long time wear.

tee: Ann Taylor (similar), watch: Fossil, sunnies: Kate Spade

We are finally thawing! I'm so happy to report that the weather was the most pleasantly warm yesterday with high of 45. We actually got out of the house and went to grocery store, despite all being stricken with the plague. Our entire family is recovering from a nasty cold that had us coughing and stuffed the entire weekend. Jonathan successfully recovered from it and passed it on to both of us, which is not fun at all.
